This program calculate TB-303's samples. As a neither have an Amiga nor the Linux software I couldn't tell you how good are the results, check it by yourself, the files aren't too big to download !
HERE
is the 3MU 1.1 Amiga version (30k, lzh packed)
HERE is the 3MU 1.1 Linux version (44k,
gz packed)
303Emu is a nice sound calculation program which create 303-like basslines. It's not realtime but the results are not bad at all. It also feature an interesting realtime demo.
HERE you can download this program (740k lha file).
Here are some words and plans from the author of 303 EMU :
20 Nov. 1997:Release last '303emu' on Aminet (version 2.3z) and put it
on the homepage http://www.xs4all.nl/~mjk303

-Better squarewave

-New sample-player with some handy functions
-Better NTSC-support
[NOT] featured:-Aiff 16 bit saver

December 1997:Release '303Tracker V1.0' and '303Envelope V1.0' on Aminet
on the homepage http://www.xs4all.nl/~mjk303
303Tracker features:-(Pseudo)realtime player, will be
expanded to REAL realtime in
future
-8/16/(24?) bit output to sample
-Maybe (!) AHI support
-Two TB-303 sound-engines
-Relaxed GUI, very intuitive
-Many flexible edit-operations
-'Hear result of what you do'
-64 patterns of any length up to
32 steps
-SUper-easy programming, everything
fits on one screen
-Original TB-303 Glide (not as
dorky as 303emu!)
-Randomize
-FX like Delay/Chorus/Distortion
-Extra docs/ AmigaGuide updated
303Envelope features:-First 'EASY' envelope editor
-Draw your envelopes with lines,
curves, freehand etc.
-You hear what you make/draw, so
very intuitive
-Lots of edit-possibilities
-8/16 bit output
-One TB-303 engine
-Very creative, funny, Xperimental
January '98:Start expanding 303Tracker, to get a REAL realtime version,
with MIDI-control etc.. Maybe the development of this will
be earlier if I get some help of others, probably positive.
I told you the realtime version of the TB-303 emulator
would be called 'BAMI 303'. That's not sure however. Maybe
I'll keep it '303tracker', wich will be updated with the
realtime code.
***********
Other facts:-There won't be a printed manual very soon
-303emu V2.x will NOT be developed further
-I will stay supporting the Amiga!
-I haven't made a deciscion yet about 'BAMI 303'. To get
things in very near future, I think I'll update 303tracker
with a realtime TB-303 engine, while the main program
(editor, interface) will be the same. If I have to write
another totally new program 'BAMI 303', I wouldn't be
ready to release before medio 1998!
Conclusion: Whether it will be called '303tracker' or
'BAMI 303', the realtime version is coming. But it first
will be released as a 'pseudo' realtime version without
MIDI-compatibility.
No more infos on this one, sorry, I'll try to find some soon ...
303 tracker is an Amiga 303 emulator. The sequencer is based on Amiga tracker (like FastTracker and so on ...), it's monophonic, and features : note, cutoff, reso, env mod, decay, accent and note lenght data.
I didnt check it by myself as far as I dont have a powerfull enough Amiga at the moment, but feel free to surf on the 303 Tracker web site which you can reach by clicking the logo here above :
