I ahve the JV-35 which is the expandable version of the JV-30. It is almost
identical except for the ability to add expanion boards with additional
sounds and poliphony.

A couple of weeks ago I posted that I had designed an acceptable emulation
of the TB-303 useing the same patch mentioned above. I found that by
tweeking the resonance and envelope a little bit it sounded quite good in a
mix. I also found that for slides of an octave or less (ie. C2-C3 ) that a
portamento setting of between 8-12 was excellent and could be very convincing.

Although its not the origional mythic analogue 303 it still adds life to a
good techno riff and for about the price of a single 303 the JV-35 gives
access to hundreds of other good sounds as well as being a usefull midi
controller.

Sorry for the extreme digital content but at least its around an analogue focus.
