THE BRAINTEC'S TRANSISTOR BASS 3
It's yet the highest cost 303-clone
on the market, but also the most complete mono synth of those reviews.
Check this :
- Double VCO : VCO 1 is saw/square
switchable, VCO 2 could work like a LFO, modulating VCF, sync to VCO 1
- Single A-D-R ENV
- Source-Target modulation matrix
via pitch bend / modulation wheel / ENV ... with 128 configurations switchable
with midi program change
- 2 LFOs sync to midi clock
- Real time midi control with controlers
over the most important parameters
- Accent (separate to volume) and
slide effects to emulate the TB-303
- CV and GATE out (midi to CV converter)
along with CV adjust
- Audio in to VCF
- VCO tune and fine tune
With all those features you can of
course emulate a TB-303, but also play strings, pads, clicks ... sounds.
The filter should be 24db I think
... And you can even order a demo-CD with various original sounds from the TB3
(it's 10.- DM, order at : TOUCHED BY SOUND - Helnrich-Heine-Str. 35 - 90587
VEITSBRONN - Germany)
Standard price in Germany : 1400.-
DM.
303 emulation rating : 6/10
